HorizonCraft Homes is a residential construction company dedicated to building energy efficient, budget-friendly homes for modern families. The company focuses on smart design, sustainable materials, and cost-effective construction methods to make high-quality housing accessible without compromising comfort or style. The company was hoping for a simple and unique design, incorporating a house element to clearly communicate its core mission of homebuilding. They wanted their colors to represent their environmentally friendly initiatives, while also creating a calm and welcoming presence.
Personal Project
For this project, I wanted to combine a housing element with a sunrise to reflect the company’s focus on building homes and new beginnings. I began by sketching out some ideas that included the initials of the company. Ultimately, I loved the idea of redesigning the arches in the “H” letters to represent the sun rising over the horizon. From there, I saw an opportunity to bring the house in between the two letters, uniting both ideas into a balanced logo. It was also important to include a sunrise into the brand imagery. Not only does this reinforce the company name and logo but also creates an unforgettable visual element that can be used across multiple platforms.
