An up-and-coming local brewery was seeking a logo and brand design before their grand opening. They needed an eye-catching and unique design to place on their outdoor sign, beer cans and bottles, as well as other branded merchandise, such as bags and T-shirts. Social media support was also requested, as well as a branded pattern that could be used throughout their marketing.
Personal Project
My ideas for this logo began brewing as soon as I received the assignment. I knew I wanted to include a hop illustration and pair it with elegant, expressive typography. I sketched several concepts—some incorporating barrels to emphasize the brewery aesthetic—but ultimately, I was drawn to the idea of a hop growing from a vine that seamlessly connects to the lettering.
